Volunteer, Educational role for Children & Young People

The RNLI purpose is to save lives at sea.

1000 young people are involved in incidents on or by the sea, each year. Some lives are lost, as a result.

The RNLI is largely a volunteer organisation operating a fleet of 332 lifeboats around the UK and Ireland. The RNLI also employs about 300 seasonal lifeguards as part of its Beach Lifeguard Services. Volunteers are needed to educate children and young people about the work of the Institution and how they can stay safe on or by the sea.  Regional education officers work with teams of volunteers to run a variety of educational initiatives. Full training, resources and expenses will be provided. CRB check will be needed.
